SEPTEMBER IS PMOS AWARENESS MONTH ๐
For many women, the journey to motherhood is not always simple.
PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome), formerly known as PCOS, is a hormonal and metabolic condition that can affect menstrual cycles, ovulation, fertility, and overall reproductive health.
For some women, PMOS may make getting pregnant more challenging. Irregular or absent ovulation can make the journey to conception longer and sometimes emotionally difficult. But a PMOS diagnosis does not mean that motherhood is out of reach. With proper medical guidance, support, and individualized care, many women with PMOS go on to have healthy pregnancies.
This September, Lux Haven Bump stands with:
๐ The woman learning to understand her body.
๐ The woman navigating irregular cycles.
๐ The woman trying to conceive.
๐ The woman undergoing fertility treatment.
๐ The expecting mother whose journey to pregnancy wasn't easy.
๐ The mama holding her miracle after a long journey.
Every pregnancy has a story.
Some journeys begin easily. Others are filled with appointments, uncertainty, waiting, hope, and incredible strength.
To every woman navigating PMOS and dreaming of motherhood: your journey matters, your struggles are valid, and you are never alone.
This PMOS Awareness Month, let's encourage education, early conversations, proper medical care, and greater understanding of women's reproductive health.
Supporting women through the journey from hope and conception to pregnancy, motherhood, and beyond. ๐ค
