In Chinese myths, the Jade Rabbit living with Chang’e in the Moon Palace embodies health, long life, purity, and gentle kindness, while ancient Han pottery rabbits echo the festival’s spirit of peace and family reunion. Traditionally, people burned fine incense under the full moon to honor the Moon God and to create a calm, reflective atmosphere during moon appreciation events. Let the peaceful rabbits and the soothing scent of agarwood inspire you to pause, slow down under the full moon, and spend meaningful time with loved ones.🌹

"Melody of the Autumn Moon" Guqin Performance & Mid-Autumn Cultural Appreciation

On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Oi Ling Antiques is honored to cooperate with Guqin master Ms. Yu Mei-lai to share the traditions of Mid- Autumn Festival with her music. Guided by the melodies of the Guqin, we warmly invite you to join our immersive journey to experience the poetic essence and rich cultural heritage of the moon through each string and note.

中秋佳節前夕，燕譽堂有幸與古琴演奏家余美麗老師合作，舉辦古琴演奏會與中秋文化導賞， 我們誠摯邀請大家蒞臨參與 。以琴聲為引，在一弦一音間感受中秋圓月的意境與文化底蘊。

• Part 1: Mid-Autumn Culture & Traditions
A guided introduction to the myths, traditional customs, and the scholars’ sentiments surrounding moon appreciation, revisiting the cultural meanings under the full moon.

• 第一部分：中秋文化與習俗導賞
分享傳統中秋節日的典故、民間習俗與文人賞月情懷，帶大家重溫圓月下的文化意涵。

• Part 2: Guqin Masterpiece Performance & Appreciation
Ms. Yu will perform a selection of timeless Guqin masterpieces to evoke a poetic festive atmosphere, including classic pieces such as Lian Xiao Yin (Song for a Pleasant Evening), Guan Shan Yue (Moon over the Mountain Pass), and Dongting Qiu Si (Autumn Thoughts by Dongting Lake).

• 第二部分：古琴名曲演繹與賞析
余老師將傾情演奏數首經典古琴曲目，以動人琴聲營造充滿詩意的中秋氣氛，其中包括：《良宵引》、《關山月》、《洞庭秋思》等等。

Thank you very much for the Director at the HKSAR Beijing office and his team, consulates from different countries and arts collectors attended our artist Joe Wong’s with two other artists’ group exhibition “Ode to Colours” opening ceremony at Cloud House Beijing in mid August.

The exhibition was successfully completed. Looking forward to seeing you all soon at our Hollywood road gallery in Hong Kong.
