THE FEATURING OUR DESIGNER OF THE MONTH: TOD’S

With great delight do we give the spotlight this month to TODs. We would like to highlight their Women Spring-Summer 2022 Women's release that was showcased at Milan’s contemporary Art Pavilion fashion show. Designed by Walter Chiapponi, Tod’s Creative director, the collection was an exquisite mix of contemporary sophistication and dynamic and modern shapes. Showcasing once more its core DNA of its take on modern fashion through its iconic handcrafted quality that we know and love.

We saw their white thong sandals in leather with heels stealing the show for being that top summer essential needed by everyone in these hot summer seasons. it's classy, it’s simple, and it doesn't shy away from tods DNA of having that top handcrafted quality.

While that caught our eyes they also showcase a pair of sexy black boots that projected confidence and sexy allure that we absolutley adorn.

While the floral motif has been very popular today, there popularity didn’t spread simply because of their colorful aesthetic appeal. This expression of flower represents diversity in its design but also hold cultural aspects that ties to Japan, China, and India over multiple time periods. Floral design is a harmony where culture meets beauty.

Our favorite is the Japanese style Chrysanthemum floral design found in mostly textile fabrics, typically featuring long slender petals radiating similarly like sun rays. While beautiful, it also became synonymous with the sun which in Japanese culture, serves as a symbol of royalty.
