I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with XRecer, a bold and innovative new multi‑effects processor brand from Hong Kong, and to demo their unit at NAMM 2026.
Those who know me know that I’m very much a vintage guitar kind of player. I don’t get impressed easily by modern digital gear. But after spending three full days living with the XRecer XR1, I can honestly say this thing surprised me in the best possible way. It’s an absolute monster of a multi‑effects processor, seamlessly balancing tone, feel, dynamics, and usability. It responds like a real instrument, not a machine, and that’s no small achievement.
And I wasn’t alone in that feeling. Over the course of the show, hundreds, if not thousands of players stopped by the booth, plugged in, and put the unit through its paces. The reactions were immediate and unanimous—smiles, raised eyebrows, and plenty of “wow” moments. That kind of response doesn’t happen by accident.
Over the past few days at NAMM, I received tons of questions about pricing and release dates. While nothing has been officially announced by the brand yet, what I can share is that XRecer is aiming for a mid‑2026 release, and the price is expected to come in lower than most competing units in its class. The unit we used at the show was still a prototype, and the team is continuing to refine every detail before the final release, pushing it all the way to perfection.
There’s already strong competition among dealers who want to carry the brand, but fingers crossed 🤞🏻we’ll be able to bring the XRecer XR1 to . Stay tuned.
And finally, after the NAMM madness, we’re taking a short breather. TML will re‑open on January 30th. Time to recharge… before the next wave hits. 😎
