HPI has recreated one of Porsche’s most iconic racing machines with an all-new 200mm body developed specifically to capture the wide arches, timeless 911 silhouette and unmistakable attitude of the 1973 Carrera RSR.
A new set of period-inspired replica wheels and high-sidewall vintage tread tires completes the authentic classic look. Underneath, the proven Sport 3 chassis features a fully sealed shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain, independent double-wishbone suspension, adjustable oil-filled shocks, waterproof electronics and a 2.4GHz radio system, with support for both 2S LiPo and NiMH battery packs.
The updated radio package also adds steering exponential and a 100-position 4th-channel slider. Built on the DN-01 rear-wheel-drive buggy platform, the new SR specification adds a carefully selected range of factory option parts to create a more complete race-focused package.
Upgrades include a slipper clutch for improved driving stability, aluminum suspension mounts for increased mounting rigidity, a durable motor plate, assembly universal shafts for improved drivetrain efficiency and hex-hub wheels for greater setup flexibility.
The kit also comes with the classic TRF201 body and rear wing, giving the DN-01 SR a proper competition-buggy appearance.The DN-01 SR is scheduled for release in Japan on October 31, 2026.
