Meet PEARL. Taiwan Maqaw Oolong Gin.
High in Taiwan’s misty mountains grows Maqaw — the “black pearl of the forest,” a tiny wild spice treasured for generations by Indigenous communities.
Most of Hong Kong has never tasted it. We’re the only ones here who’ve put it in a bottle.
Those little dark berries carry something you won’t expect from their size — lemon, lemongrass, ginger, a gentle flicker of pepper.
In PEARL, they open bright and warm, woven through smooth oolong and crisp gin, with a whisper of sea salt at the edge — mountain meeting ocean, the way Taiwan itself does.
Serve it cold. Over plenty of ice for a bright, clean finish — or top with soda when you want it to sparkle. Either way, it’s a first sip most people around you won’t have had before.
