”Mil-Dam Rum“ is a rum made from sugarcane molasses.
The name ”Mil-Dam“ (밀담) combines:
”Mil“ (밀), derived from the ancient Goguryeo word for the number ”3“,
”Dam“ (담), meaning ”delicious flavor“.
Together, the name symbolizes ”a smooth and delicious liquor triple-distilled for purity.“
To enhance its refined taste, Mil-Dam Rum uses vacuum distillation (low-pressure distillation), resulting in an exceptionally clean and mellow.

• 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿 & 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮
The distinctive pronounced level of sweetness from sugar cane flavour will great you first even with a hint of stone fruit-like sweetness aroma.
But the warming alcohol texture which is a signature character of rum can be found quite straight on your palate:)

We were honored to collaborate as the beverage curation partner for the *Signature Members Connection Night* 🌃 at Asia Society Hong Kong Center on August 14th. Inspired by Hoo Mojong’s vibrant fruit still-life paintings, we prepared a refreshing selection of fruity drinks from KAVE to complement the evening! 🍎🍶

KAVE is pleased to announce our participation in the opening ceremony of the exhibition 《Artistic Companions in Life: Lee Ungno, Park In-Kyung》 at the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong. We showcased a curated selection of traditional Korean makgeolli, featuring Moonlight Yuzu Makgeolli, Black Rabbit Makgeolli, and Red Monkey Makgeolli.

One of the highlights was the pairing of these distinctive makgeolli varieties with the exhibition’s artworks, creating a refined and immersive cultural experience. In addition to the catering, we introduced guests to KAVE’s broader selection of Korean traditional liquors, including soju, yakju, and wine, further deepening appreciation for Korea’s rich drinking heritage.
