設計師形容這件extension的感覺大概會是，「一擺隻手落去就係嗰個聲。」

Cross-stick Extension 是 Lug-mounted 懸浮結構，使用實心櫸木 (Solid Beech) ，每一件都是人手打造。

這個Hoop Extension 設計將邊擊的打擊平面延伸並適度抬高，創造出自然、輕鬆的支點；懸浮不接觸鼓皮與木框，更確保了snare 本身 100% 的自然 resonance與 sustain 不被干擾。

The ride cymbal on the bench today was exceptionally thick. When working with heavy alloys, managing the metal's heat is crucial—we had to repeatedly pause to let it cool before it overheated, pacing the grinding process carefully. 這件很好玩，每次有朋友上黎都會上癮的。

有思考過的打擊過程令人進入心流狀態，DUO能助你一把。
設計師說，整個核心就只是'Focus'。有了Focus，就有Precision。

如此直觀的設計，4cm pad diameter，cymbal stand mountable，終於不需要snare stand了。
顏色亦輔助教導，讓stickings 理解的過程更smooth，也是為了專注度提升，讓練習效率更高。回到drumset，accuracy up，就更能打到心中想要的位置，繼而音色。

每隻DUO也有自己獨特的橡木天然木紋（這次的原木數量不是太多），在我們工作室人手打磨上油。

A highly intuitive physical structure: a targeted 4cm striking diameter, equipped with a cymbal stand mount—finally liberating you from bulky snare stands.
The dual-color system provides visual navigation, making the cognitive processing of stickings exceptionally smooth. This sensory focus maximizes your practice efficiency. When you transition back to the drum kit, this elevated accuracy allows you to find your tone and 'get the sound' in your head more easily, which at the end our ultimate goal has always been - more sensory control, more freedom over that control, more expression over that freedom, enjoy the ride.

#設計筆記 （下）｜ Finger Trigger — 運動機能、工學與心理

記不記得自己當初學習踏單車的時候？
要達到平衡並非刻意去「想著」平衡的力度和技巧，而是「專注」看著前方，想著要前進，一直踩。

還有終於去了健身房後，首次感受到工具讓動作isolate、集中訓練你想訓練的部分那種感覺？
我們也需要給身體和腦部時間去學習使用那工具，讓我們發力順暢。終歸也是為了達到更高的控制能力、更全面的感受。

設計師說：
「我們學懂了一種技巧後，就很容易忘了當初不認識它的時候的感受。」

使用 Finger Trigger 練習時，你只需將拇指按在組件頂部，而非直接按住鼓棒——鼓棒穩妥地連接在組件上。這樣的設計，讓你徹底擺脫傳統握棒時擔心鼓棒滑脫或重心不穩的困擾，能夠心無旁騖地專注於訓練其他手指的發力與協調。

當鼓棒打擊鼓面時，組件帶動鼓棒穩定的往復運動，敲擊流暢且一致。此時，你唯一要做的，就是全神貫注地感受每一次敲擊所傳遞的力度、速度與反彈。透過反覆練習，這些細膩的體感將深植為你的肌肉記憶，幫助你輕鬆駕馭更複雜的stickings或rudiments。

| Finger Trigger — Motor-Function, Ergonomics, Mindset

As our designer puts it: "Once we master a technique, it's remarkably easy to forget the struggle of how it felt when we didn't know it."

When practicing with the Finger Trigger, your thumb simply rests on top of the mechanism rather than gripping the stick directly—the stick is securely mounted to the hardware. This design eliminates the constant distraction of the stick slipping or losing its balance point, a common issue with traditional grips. It allows you to tune out the noise and focus entirely on the isolation and coordination of your other fingers.

As the stick strikes the drumhead, the mechanism drives a stable, reciprocating motion, ensuring each stroke is smooth and consistent. At this stage, your only job is to fully immerse yourself in the physical feedback—the force, the speed, and the rebound of every hit. Through repetition, these subtle tactile sensations sink deep into your muscle memory, laying the groundwork to effortlessly navigate more complex stickings and rudiments.

#設計筆記 ｜ Finger Trigger — 源自突發奇想的鼓手訓練工具

最初，我哋純粹諗：可唔可以打造一個專門訓練手指發力嘅練習器？當日立即砌了一個初型，隨手拍嘅粗糙 Prototype 短片，引來三十萬多1次觀看。當中嘅讚賞批評也有，有人甚至說「完全沒有用」。呢啲意見對我哋嚟講都係寶貴嘅衝擊，亦令我們知道原來好多鼓手，都會想有一件能真正鍛鍊手指力量及控制嘅工具。

華哥同何生將呢啲 feedback 帶返入 workshop。同每一位上嚟探班嘅鼓手不斷試、不斷討論。喺呢個反覆推翻嘅過程入面，我哋嘅願景變得更加純粹：要造嘅係一件純粹針對「手指肌肉獨立發力 (Isolation Exercise)」嘅工具。

經過一段時間嘅努力，試過唔同嘅廠家嘅組件/五金，全新嘅 Finger Trigger 正式成型量產。就好似健身需要針對性嘅器材去突破樽頸一樣，練鼓同樣需要精準嘅輔助。

| Finger Trigger — Inspiration

The Motor-Function R&D.

Initially, we simply wondered: could we build a practice device dedicated to training finger technique? We immediately put together an early model that day. A casually shot video of that rough prototype unexpectedly drew over 300,000 views. There was praise, as well as criticism—some even called it "completely useless." To us, these opinions provided a valuable impact, letting us know that many drummers out there actually desire a tool that truly conditions finger strength and control.

We took this feedback straight back into the workshop. We continuously tested and discussed it with every drummer who came by to visit. Through this process of constant deconstruction and refinement, we dedicate our time to engineer a tool strictly dedicated to the "Isolation Exercise" of finger muscles.

After a period of R&D, testing components and hardware from various manufacturers, the new Finger Trigger is finally available for limited production. Just as fitness requires targeted equipment to break through plateaus, drumming demands precise assistance.
