Casio G SHOCK x "ANTARCTIC RESEARCH ROV" FROGMAN

G-SHOCK, the watch that supports professionals engaged in activities under various severe environments around the world, is proud to announce a new Antarctic Research ROV collaboration model.
This new collaboration model was jointly developed by CASIO and Shimpei Goto, Assistant Professor at the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology as a navigation device of the underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that was used for joint research on the January 2018 59th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition.
The base model is the Master of G FROGMAN timepiece that is designed and engineered for professional diving. Every aspect of this model, including coloring and design, has been selected and refined in close cooperation of Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, which used the ROV to conduct actual surveys on Antarctic lakes and wetlands. This model adopts the same bold coloring of the ROV: red, black, orange and blue, while the back cover, backlight, band, and special packaging all adopt designs that incorporate an image of Antarctica.

Casio G SHOCK 2020 x " SENDAI CITY FIRE BUREAU" RANGEMAN

Introducing the "Emergency Fire Assistance Team Collaboration Model," which embodies G-SHOCK's desire to support firefighters who are active in harsh and tough environments. As the base model, the Master of G, RANGEMAN equipped with a function to support the activities of firefighters who need accurate time and information at any time and under any circumstances is adopted. This time, in the 25 years since the establishment of the emergency fire support team, the Kobe City Fire Bureau experienced the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake that triggered the establishment of the system, and the Sendai City Fire Department who experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake, the largest troop dispatch since its creation. With the full cooperation of the bureau, we finished with a particular coloring and design. It is a G-SHOCK brand color and is based on black, which is also the key color of the fire prevention clothing adopted by the Sendai City Fire Department, and on the back of the band, we adopted red with the motif of the fire brigade of the emergency fire support team, Yellow, which is used as a reflective material in fireproof clothing, has been adopted as the accent color. The band has a rescue tool rope, and the play ring has a stamp of the emergency fire support team. In the back light part, we designed the logo of the emergency fire support team, which is based on the image of a carabiner used during activities, and on the case back and packaging, we also designed the fire department badges of the Kobe City Fire Department and the Sendai City Fire Department. The details and passion of the members are expressed in every detail. In addition, we pursue functions, operability, and finishing that are designed for use by specialists who are active in harsh environments. Many members use the direct time stamp on the site to easily record the precise time of the radio-controlled watch with one push when performing operations or in an emergency. This tie-up model was born from the G-SHOCK and the spirits of fire brigade members who have always been required to be "tough" and who have been confronting harsh environments.

Casio BABY-G "JELLY BLUE"

Starting from the beginning of the 1990's, G-SHOCK and BABY-G have been producing special models in collaboration with and in support of various different environmental organizations. From 2018 G-SHOCK and BABY-G will be endorsing and supporting the activities of AQUA PLANET, an NPO that works towards regeneration of coral reefs. These new models incorporate semi-transparent materials to create motifs that recall the beautiful oceans of the world, along with the coral, fish, and other life forms that live there. These G-SHOCK and BABY-G models come in coral white (representing white coral, which some believe has metaphysical and healing properties). The small hand of the dial at 9 o'clock of the G-SHOCK model is shaped in the image of the brightly colored clown fish, while periphery of the dial at 9 o'clock of the BABY-G model also features clown fish colors. The increasing severity of global warming and other environmental problems of recent years has brought increasing attention to the Earth's life forms. These new models express the spirit to do what it takes to protect our beautiful oceans.

Casio BABY-G 25th Anniversary x "POKEMON" Pikachu

2019 marks the 25th anniversary of the BABY-G casual watch for active women. In celebration of Baby-G's 25th year, Casio has partnered with Pokémon to create a new style featuring Pikachu, the 25th Pokémon in the Pokédex.
The band ring is imprinted with the numbers “0:25”, while the band itself is marked with iconic designs from the world of the Pokémon. The basic black coloring of the band is accented by lightning bolt and Poké Ball images printed as game-dot like art, which creates a very 1990s design. The display also has a motif that is reminiscent of the game screens from the original Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue Version video games released in 1996.
Illuminating the display with the EL backlight causes a game dot image of Pikachu to appear on the display, and an image of Pikachu is also stamped into the back cover of the watch. The package of the watch is made in the Poké Ball image.
A collaboration with the world-famous Pikachu recreates the feel of the ‘90s, making this a fitting special BABY-G anniversary model.
