Jöjjön a teljes beszámoló! 👇
Az amur horgászatánál közkedvelt tigrismogyoró-pop up csalikombinációt raktam össze, 8-as Sedo Krank horogból készült kombi-rigre felcsalizva.
A színválasztás sem utolsó szempont, a Redsinker palettáján található színek közül a kőszínű súlyok a Dunán tökéletesen beolvadtak ebbe a sziklás/kavicsos környezetbe.

Read Ördög Antal’s 24-hour Danube fishing report, where grass carp were the main target this time. Find out how he approached the session, what bait and setup he used, and how the 150 g Red Sinker weights performed in the strong current of the Danube.
At the end of July, I set up camp on the banks of the Danube for a short 24-hour fishing session. My target fish this time was grass carp, and I was curious to see whether I could catch them at the chosen spot.
I did not pre-bait the swim, but upon arrival I heavily baited a strip of water in front of me with corn and tiger nuts, and continued to repeat this throughout the day.
For grass carp fishing, I put together the popular tiger nut–pop-up bait combination, presented on a combi rig tied with a size 8 Sedo Krank hook.
I attached 150 g Red Sinker weights to the lead clip. This was the size that stayed firmly on the riverbed and did not allow the current to roll the weight into the rocks, helping to avoid getting snagged. Another advantage of the heavier weight is that it helps with hooking the grass carp in their bony mouths. Colour choice is also an important factor: from the colours available in the Red Sinker range, the stone-coloured weights blended perfectly into the rocky and gravelly environment of the Danube.
The fish did not find my bait during the afternoon or throughout the night, but in the morning a beautiful Danube common carp finally showed up. It wasn’t a grass carp, of course, but I certainly wasn’t disappointed. The setup worked perfectly with the carp as well. After removing the hook and taking a few photos, the carp swam away, and I slowly started making my way home.
Unfortunately, the grass carp did not show themselves, but I still didn’t end the session without a fish. It is another reminder that it is always worth heading out to the Danube, and I will definitely give it another try soon.
