Will I ever get this robot to balance properly? Who knows, but at least it's starting to look a little like intended.

I think every mini painter builds up a ridiculously large collection of paints. So today I decided to check if I actually needed all of mine.

sent me their Basic acrylic paint set and it was the perfect time to try painting a mini with just once box of beginner paints.

I'm very happy with the resulting paint job of the mini from but what do you think?

I became inspired and made a Miniature Painting Clamp of my own to hold really big models.

This was inspired by the clamps and painting handle.

There was lots of great feedback on the first attempt at a self balancing robot so we took a lot of it on board and made this. Isn't he wonderdul?

He's a bit shakey and wanders around too much but sure we all do that right? Gotta work on a v3 next

So my self balancing robot has started balancing, but has also started dancing... how do I get him to sit still? Does he need to see a doctor?

Trying out the miniature clamps from and I think they're a great upgrad for the painting handle. It saves time and mess since I don't have to blu-tac the minis down anymore.

What's interesting is tjat they're 3D printed, what do you think about a product like this coming 3D printed?

I might try make my own version of the design for bigger minis in the future...
