ONI 13.7oz NEP Selvage Denim

Unveiling the “Texture of the Demon”, here are The New ONI 13.7oz NEP Selvage Denim. A masterclass in Japanese textile innovation, this collection is designed for those who find beauty in imperfection.

Known as the “Masters of Slub,” ONI has pushed the boundaries of traditional weaving to create their neppiest denim yet. Woven at ultra-low tension on vintage shuttle looms, this 13.7oz mid-weight fabric is made for those who are craving for hairy and rough-looking surface denim. The “neps’, the tiny clumps of fiber, originally considered flaws, but they are now prized for their vintage and a unique looking texture. They scatter across the fabric like falling snow, creating a visual depth that is truly one-of-a-kind. Despite its rough-looking texture, this denim wears with surprising lightness and comfort.

This new ONI 13.7oz NEP denim is dyed to a rich deep indigo using traditional rope-dyeing, allowing the warp yarns to contrast beautifully against the undyed natural weft. As you wear them, the extreme texture ensures high-contrast, multi-layered fades that develop more character than any standard denim ever could.

Every pair of ONI 13.7oz NEP Denim features the ONI classic pink selvedge line, branded “ONI” doughnut buttons and punch-through copper rivets, and genuine deer skin leather patch. These jeans have been one-washed to eliminate shrinkage, ensuring a comfortable fit from day one.

Available in 2 ONI favorite cuts: the classic 288 Regular straight and the 222 Super Wide Straight, the NEP series is built to elevate every style.

Available now in our store.

13.7oz ONI Original NEP Denim. Unsanforized, but One-Washed (No more shrinkage, or little, if any). 100% Cotton. Copper Rivets and Buttons. Pink Selvage ID. Crafted in Japan.

ONI Denim 277 “Bumpy Denim” - 17oz Bumpy Just Right Straight Fit

The ONI 277 “Bumpy Denim” collection is a 17oz selvedge masterpiece that epitomizes ONI’s obsession with radical textile development. More than just a piece of denim, the 277 is a work of raw denim artistry, pushing the boundaries of what vintage shuttle looms can achieve.

The soul of the 277 lies in its revolutionary 17oz “Bumpy” fabric. Woven at extremely low tension, the denim exhibits a hyper-slubby, chaotic architecture that has become ONI’s signature. This deliberate structural “imperfection” creates a three-dimensional fading canvas. Remarkably, despite its robust weight and heavy character, the weave remains pliable, offering a surprisingly comfortable break-in period for such a heavy-weight fabric.

Each pair is overdyed in its loomstate condition using four distinct dye varieties—a technically demanding process that results in incredible depth of color. This layering amplifies the “Bumpy” texture, creating a visual effect that mimics heavy rainfall. As the denim ages, it yields complex, dynamic fades reminiscent of traditional natural-dyed denim.

Available in Four Distinctive and Unique Colorways:
• Kuro (Black): A commanding, monochrome finish designed for high-contrast, moody fades.
• Murasaki (Purple): A sophisticated, deep violet hue that reveals an evolving, regal profile over time.
• Kusaki (Green): An earthy, organic green offering a subdued and natural patina.
• Ōudo (Golden Ochre): A bold, warm ochre for a highly distinctive and heritage-inspired look.

The 277 Just Right Straight is a brand-new silhouette designed for versatility. Positioning itself between the 288 (Regular Straight) and the 266 (Relaxed Straight), it leans slightly toward the relaxed side. With a reliable mid-rise and a classic straight leg that provides ample room in the thigh, it offers a timeless aesthetic that accommodates various body types without sacrificing style.

This new ONI Bumpy also features a custom 2-colored Purple and Yellow selvage ID, which represent traditional Japanese theatre color, a vegetable-Tanned Leather Patch and a special Bumpy flasher… [Continued to comment]

Studio D’Artisan 14oz Bengara Selvage Denim Collection - The Earth’s Ancient Red

Here is the new Studio D’Artisan Bengara selvage denim collection. This new collection allows us to experience an unprecedented shade in the world of denim. Studio D’Artisan proudly presents the D1908 Bengara Selvage Jeans and the D4621 Bengara Selvage Denim Jacket, a matching set crafted using a stunning, ancient Japanese dyeing technique.

This collection, comprising both the jeans and the jacket, is crafted from a specialized 14oz original unsanforized selvage denim. Both pieces are then colored using Bengara (iron oxide pigment), a natural dye rooted in Japanese history. Often referred to as “earth dyeing,” this process harnesses the warm, earthy red-rust tones born from the soil. Applied using a meticulous hand-kneaded technique, Bengara delivers a deeply saturated, gentle color that is both captivating and sustainable. Unlike traditional plant dyes, this iron oxide method provides exceptional color persistence and longevity, ensuring the rich, beautiful red remains vibrant for years. It is a color that speaks of the earth’s bounty and enduring craftsmanship.

The Jeans feature Studio D’Artisan’s modern Relaxed Tapered silhouette, offering comfort through the top block and thigh while tapering sharply toward the leg opening for a clean, contemporary look. Details include an original “Bengara” leather patch, pocket bags, Studio D’Artisan engraved copper rivets, and a button fly.

The Jacket is a rare offering from Studio D’Artisan, utilizing the highly sought-after Type III jacket silhouette and including hand-warmer side pockets. The slightly slim cut is designed to be sleek and stylish, making it the perfect complementary piece to wear as a full “Bengara” suit combo with the Bengara Jeans.

This collection is a true embodiment of Japanese heritage, transforming a sustainable ancient pigment into a durable, beautifully textured denim artistry. Another masterpiece from the Osaka 5 legend, Studio D’Artisan.

Studio D’Artisan 15oz GL3 Slubby Selvage Jeans

Here they are the new Studio D’Artisan GL3 slubby Selvedge Jeans, the new standard for textured raw denim from the Osaka 5 legend. More than just jeans, these new fabrics are more like an art in the making. Built around a newly developed 15oz slubby Japanese denim that provides year-round weight and incredible character.

The “GL3” in this denim refers to the usage of Toyoda GL3 Shuttle Loom in weaving the denim. This is one of the earliest power looms, which have no replacement parts due to its age. So, the only way to replace broken parts is to salvage parts from discarded looms of the same model. This old loom requires a lot of maintenance and is extremely inefficient. Despite the hardship, the GL3 is a one-of-a-kind loom that has the ability to create ruggedness and roughness of denim from half a century ago.

By expertly balancing the use of the old GL3 power loom and the specially created slub yarn cotton, Studio D’Artisan has perfected the texture, creating just the right amount of irregularity and prominent vertical slub pattern that promises aggressive, high-contrast vertical fading (tate-ochi) as you wear them. This denim has a unique unevenness and roughness that cannot be expressed in modern denim, which is produced more efficiently and uniformly. This denim starts slightly darker than average raw indigo and is destined to develop a stunning, unique patina as the high points lighten with wear. Being unsanforized but one-washed, shrinkage is minimal, ensuring a straightforward fit and comfort since day one.

Available in various Studio D’Artisan original cuts, the Loose Straight SD-1002, the Regular Straight SD-1001, and the new High Rise Tapered SD-1009. All fits are designed for comfort and classic or modern style, covering any preferences.

The Construction and details are top-tier you can always expect from Studio D’Artisan. Every pair features durable heavy pocket bags and is finished with a custom goat leather patch, SDA Buttons and Hidden Rivets.

Studio D’Artisan Noragi Sashiko Jacquard Shirts - Blue & Army Green

In over ten years of carrying heritage denim, this Noragi Sashiko fabric stands out as one of the most beautiful and mesmerizing textiles we have ever encountered.

These shirts are a statement from Studio D’Artisan, and a deeply woven interpretation of Japan’s cultural heritage and enduring craftsmanship. The name “Noragi” hails back to an era when kimono fabric was too precious to discard. Farmers would meticulously stitch together tattered pieces using Sashiko (little stab) sewing, creating sturdy, warm workwear—a tradition that expresses the hard work and resourcefulness of preservation.

Studio D’Artisan brilliantly replicates this historical necessity with modern artistry. They have custom-developed this heavyweight Japanese Sashiko fabric using a blend of slub and heathered yarns, resulting in a rich, textured depth. To truly mimic the original hand-sewn garments, they intentionally vary the style and direction of the sashiko stitching, creating beautiful intricacies and an uneven, authentic texture that you can admire all day long.

The fabric itself combines this rustic beauty with remarkable sturdiness, making it a perfectly weighted work-style shirt. This Noragi Sashiko collection is offered in two color options: the Blue Noragi Sashiko and the military-inspired Noragi Army Sashiko. Both are finished with beautiful, natural Tagua Nut Buttons, which add a nice contrast to the fabric. These shirts are built for versatile wear—comfortable close to the body or layered as an overshirt.

This is Studio D’Artisan at its finest: a true head-turner that marries rich history, warmth, and unparalleled textile artistry. Simply a masterpiece destined to become an heirloom.

The Flat Head TMC-101 2 Wheelers T-Shirts

Here they are the new 2 Wheelers Printed T-Shirts from The Flat Head.

Made from 100% US long staple cotton, the fabric is slowly knit on rare vintage loopwheel machines in Japan, resulting in a unique subtly slubbed texture. These machines are rarely seen to be used these days as they have low pace and take a lot of effort to operate. But the result is worth it.
The fabric is heavier than your common T-shirts, but it’s soft at the same time.

Unlike common and modern production T-shirts, these loopwheeled fabrics keep their original form even after years of use. They don’t shrink or stretch after washing. The three lines stitching synchronizes the shrinking
of the collar and body and ensures the super durable collar shape, which will keep the collar in perfect form for years to come.

Available in The Flat Head favorite black body.

Studio D’Artisan D1894 Twin Indigo “Sou-AI” Selvage Jeans

Studio D’Artisan strikes again with this exceptional D1894 “Sou-AI” Twin Indigo Selvage Jeans. This denim is an exquisite combination of two shades of indigo—greencast and redcast—used to create the warp of the denim, resulting in a one-of-a-kind 16oz unsanforized selvage fabric.

Studio D’Artisan specially developed the slubby yarns for this denim. One is dyed with Tokushima Natural Indigo (the greencast), and the other with Pure Indigo (the redcast). Both are meticulously dyed using the traditional Japanese method of “Kase-zome” or Kase-dyeing. The process requires subtle adjustment to reach the intended color and depth, which is time-consuming and labor intensive. The result is a deeply indigo-saturated yarn with unparalleled color and depth while leaving the core white. These two yarns are the fundamental basis of the warp, hence this denim is named “Sou-AI” / Twin Indigo.

These two distinct yarns are then woven with the undyed, natural ecru weft thread on a vintage shuttle loom at an intentionally low tension. This specialized weave results in a heavily textured, irregular fabric and creates the visually stunning and highly sought-after “rain” streak pattern that runs vertically through the denim. The ecru weft thread further enhances this effect, providing brilliant contrast that guarantees dramatic, high-contrast fading as the indigo sheds with wear. The unique color of the denim is evident as the indigo depth and hue alternate between the redcast and the greencast. This is a pleasing sight for any denim enthusiast and curator.

These Twin-Indigo jeans come in Studio D’Artisan’s signature Regular Straight cut, which offers a comfortable, traditional silhouette. It features a medium rise, a roomy top block, and a full-cut leg from the thigh down to the leg opening. A classic look which stands the test of time, this is an ideal choice for those who appreciate the solid look and feel of vintage workwear while demanding the utmost in comfort.

Two Cats Brand - TCB 50’s Collection - Jeans & Jacket

We’ve just received a fresh batch of TCB 50’s Regular Jeans and TCB 50’s Jacket, A faithful reproduction combo of the iconic Levi’s 501 and Levi’s 507XX from the 1950s. These 50’s Jeans and jacket are where the TCB story began.

Crafted from approx. 13.5oz 100% Zimbabwe cotton, the fabric is woven on vintage looms, creating a unique texture with natural irregularities—free from modern computerized regulation. This gives the denim an authentic fade over time, starting with scattered white dots that gradually connect to form beautiful vertical fades, just like true vintage pieces.

The silhouette of the jeans features a mid-rise, relaxed fit with a slight taper toward the hems, offering both timeless style and comfort. While for the jacket, TCB has modified the shape to a slimmer chest with a longer dress length and tighter arms to serve those who prefer a more modern fit.

As a brand rooted in sewing craftsmanship, TCB pays meticulous attention to every stitch. For the 50s Jeans, they’ve carefully selected four different thread colors and five yarn counts, using only 100% cotton thread to ensure an authentic vintage look. Even the pocket bag seams are roughly sewn, staying true to the era’s construction methods while maintaining durability. For the jacket, on the double-stitch sewing on the front pockets, a small triangle shape made of two stitch lines can be seen, which was made thanks to the vintage two-needled sewing machine. They also sewed the pocket flap in one-go, just like how it’s done back then.

A signature detail—the hand-sewn paper patch—will naturally wear and tear over time, revealing deep indigo beneath, a testament to the journey of the jeans. Hidden rivets on the jeans back pockets are secured using the most durable method for long-lasting strength. From this batch on, Inoue-san has updated the red tab with the new indigo-dyed TCB tab. This is the new interesting detail to have, as the color will fade gradually and the base color of the tab will come out and create a nice contrast with the denim that has grown.

Two Cats Brand - TCB 30’s Collection - Jeans & Jacket

Here they are TCB 30’s Jeans C & TCB 30’s Jacket from TCB Pre-war collection. First released in 2022, TCB 30’s jeans C and jacket have been one of the most aftersought pair from TCB, which embodies TCB’s unwavering dedication to historical accuracy and authentic vintage style, capturing the spirit of workwear denim era with precision and superior craftsmanship.

Both are crafted from a custom 14.1oz selvage denim, made of blended American cotton. This fabric is developed after meticulous analysis of original S501XX 1937 denim. By using the yarn count 6 threads for both wefts and warps, and by weaving them with high density on vintage Toyoda shuttle loom, making this fabric the heaviest and the stiffest custom-made fabric TCB have ever made. It truly replicates the crisp, the stiffness and the ruggedness of the original 1930s fabrics.

1937 is the year when Levi’s started to use hidden rivets for the first time. To respect this detail, Inoue-san name this jeans TCB 30’s Jeans C, in which this C stands for Concealed rivets. This is also the year that single needle machines started to be used again. TCB make a slightly different cut pattern for the both back pockets to faithfully reproduce the detail of this 1937 jeans. The TCB 30’s Jeans C also features Cinch Back and Crotch Rivet, these 2 details can be only seen on the jeans from pre-wear era. One of the most unique detail of this jeans is the high placement and the narrow one-needle top stitching of the coin pocket, which gives a unique impression. The tin plating buttons are also used on this jeans, which was a good solution to prevent buttons from rusting.

As for the Jacket, the pocket started to be sewn at an angle with a small triangle at the corners and have the rounded flap. TCB adds their flavour by making it one-piece sleeves jacket. This type I jacket also has slimmer and narrower box pleats which are unique to this period. And one unique detail of a jacket from this period is the way collar fabric is cut. It’s cut laterally which create distinctive pattern once it fades out.
