My new dress is made from a tablecloth I found at a thrift store near my home. The pattern is perfect puff sleeve top from Matchy Matchy Sewing Club . I sewed it in size M and added 10 cm to the length.

For the sleeves, since I couldn’t decide between green or blue, I used both! Both fabrics are gorgeous linen from The Linen Lab .

Bali Skirt
So excited that the pattern from 𝘽𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨 / 𝙨𝙚𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙨 / 𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙝 is finally live today!

I had the honor of being one of the pattern testers, this is my second pattern test and I’m in love with how it turned out, flowy, comfy, and absolutely perfect for any vibe.

I made size M using seer sucker cotton, which matches my usual clothing size (EU 40-42). However, it seems that even if I had made size S, the fit would still be very good. Next time, I’ll sew size S.

Dolls
When I was young, I wasn’t a fan of fluffy dolls. The feel of the fur always seemed odd and uncomfortable to me. So, I never really got into playing with them. But when I had my own child, I wanted them to have handmade dolls, especially crafted by their mom. So, I whipped up a linen and cotton bear when they turned four. After that, I found myself really enjoying making dolls. I figured these dolls could be companions for kids who, like me, aren’t keen on Fluffy toys.

Hari ini tim Dijahit Indah, mengadakan pelatihan olah sampah untuk ibu - ibu guru di kota Bogor. Membuat bros dari tutup galon, tempat jarum dari tutup botol dan keranjang anyam dari koran bekas.

Semoga sedikit ilmu yang kami bagikan, bisa berguna dan bisa diteruskan kepada para murid di sekolah masing - masing ;)

Kabar gembira untuk semua yang sudah sangat rindu dengan di Kedai Tjikini dan buat yg sudah bertanya - tanya, kapan CraftDay ada lagi..

CraftDay Tjikini hadiiiir kembali.. \(^^)/

Dijahit Indah tak mau ketinggalan ikut meramaikan, bersama sejumlah crafter - crafter keren lainnya.. 😆

Jadi harap dicatat tanggalnya, 4- 5 April 2015 jam 10.00 - 18.00.. Jangan lupa ikut meramaikan juga, datang bersama keluarga dan handai taulan ke Kedai Tjikini (sejejeran dengan Kantor pos Cikini, tepat di sebrang Menteng Huis)..

Oiya, ada workshop2 serunya jugaaa, jadi CraftDay kali ini sayang sekali untuk dilewatkaan.. 😊😊
