Cleaning Instructions
MAXPEDITION's nylon fabric is treated with Dupont Teflon for superb water and grime resistance.
To clean, simply wipe down with a damp cloth. Allow gear to dry naturally.

USMC Marine M9 Replica.
Tactical and Military Bayonet Knife.
Sheath ABS Plastic Nylon.

is a reproduction (replica) of the famous M9 bayonet with a stainless steel blade and full featured scabbard. The knife is not very sharp but the edge is good and just needs some touching up, the blade is 1/4" thick.

The scabbard has a wire cutter built in the end, a removeable pouch on the top for sharpening stones etc, web belt clip on, quick disconnect, Underneath the back strap is a sharpening stone.

The real scoop: Comes doused in cosmoline (grease) that takes about 5 minutes to get off. The sharpening stone on the back is really coarse and often times is cracked (see picture), it is better than nothing but not much. The saw back is not an origional feature on the M9, the scabbard is very good and super functional. I wish it was sharper out of the box but can be sharpened razor sharp. No idea what quality the stainless steel is. For the money you will be very pleased.
