Pringgasela Village in East Lombok, where CMR is located, survived safely through the recent Lombok earthquakes. Pringgasela recorded zero human injury or building damage so far. CMR could thus quickly open the gallery as the base post for relief efforts to distribute supplies for the most affected people in distant regions.

Thanks to many generous donors and passionate volunteers, so far we made 6 trips of truckful delivery to the quake-hit areas of Jering, Kakait, Lilir, Menggala, Gondang and Kampung Luk. Hundreds of distributed items included: rice, drinking water, instant noodles, snacks, blankets, baby/kid/adult clothes, diapers, sanitary items, toys, and more.

We also distributed boiled eggs to help with nutrition management of dozens of Pringgasela locals who are remaining at tents under voluntary evacuation for half a month.

Our work is ongoing tonight for another delivery to Sembalun, Obel-obel, and Sambelia. It will continue for more.

In the spirit of Indonesia's Independence, let's keep working for peace and security of our community!
