We are a family run pottery located in the village of Pollagh on Achill Island, producing a range of handmade pottery for the home and special occasions. Established in 2005 by Laura McIntyre Mulligan, the key to what we do is based on our personal approach to our customers. Laura has over 20 years experience in the industry having worked with Celtic Weave China (Donegal), the world renowned Belle

ek Pottery (Fermanagh) and Achill Island Pottery (Mayo) before setting up on her own producing a handmade range inspired by her experience and the unique location that is Achill Island. We pride ourselves on

•Producing quality handmade pottery locally i.e. Made in Achill
•Our ability to personalise our product to suit our customers requirements
•A clear customer focus and engagement with each on a one to one basis

Achill has been a muse for many an artist over the years and Laura is no different with her handmade pottery range inspired by the rugged landscape and coastline. In recent times a Graphic Design element has been added to give an extra dimension to the services available to our customers, to enhance our ability to personalise items. Joe is responsible for this side of things and relishes the challenge new projects offer. We are keenly aware of our culture and the importance of our heritage, having been nominated twice for the 'Gradam Gnó le Gaeilge', a Mayo initiative for businesses that promote business through Irish. Tomorrow is the day ! Pop into Alices,Ostan Oilean Acla, Achill Sound , for our Christmas market in aid of Cancer Care West. It will be a great day, 12 - 4pm, with over 20 stalls with the best of all things local.
