Hi guys and girls 💐
Just a wee reminder for every florist out there who’s having one of those days where everything feels hard…
We built our businesses from scratch.
We started with a pair of scissors, a bucket of flowers, an idea and probably a lot more determination than money. 😂 We found our own customers, built our reputation, learned from our mistakes, survived the quiet weeks, the complaints, the late nights, the early mornings and the days when we genuinely wondered what on earth we were doing.
We’ve made bouquets at ridiculous o’clock, dealt with flowers that refused to open, deliveries that didn’t arrive, vans that broke down, weddings, funerals, Valentine’s, Mother’s Day and Christmas and somehow we’re still standing. 🌸
So when business feels overwhelming, remember who you are.
You built something from nothing. Every customer who walks through your door, every order that comes through your website and every person who recommends you is there because of something you created.
Running a florists isn’t always as pretty as the flowers we sell. Some days are bloody hard.
But if you figured out how to build a clientele from zero, you can figure out whatever comes next.
Keep going. Keep learning. Keep backing yourself.
