Great evening on Wednesday in Galway, enjoyed meeting Neven and seeing so many old friends from home. Very fond memories.

Today is our last day of the STOCK CLEARANCE EVENT being held at Athlone Springs Hotel until 7.pm this evening.

Thanks to all for your wonderful support and such kind wishes. We had such a great day yesterday we were able to top up with some more of the bigger items last night. So still some great bargains to be enjoyed. Let your friends know. .. Thanks

Feeling Blue!!......This dresser was outgrown by its original owner and although it was in good condition when we bought it for the shop it was in need of some TLC. I was set on a simple vintage look and with just a wipe of a cloth to clean it down it was ready to be transformed with Chalk PaintTM decorative paint by Annie Sloan. I chose 'duck egg' a beautiful blue green colour and with a few strokes of the brush I was immediately happy with my choice. After two coats I finished it with Annie SloanTM clear soft wax which I left to dry overnight before buffing slightly!!!
