Well… that’s a wrap 😢
Known to many as the €2 shop, after years of €1 bargains, last-minute cards, and “I’ll just grab one thing” (that never stayed as one thing 😅), today marks our final day at EuroGiant Ballina.
We opened on Pearse Street on Paddy’s Day 2004, right in the heart of town — and what a run it’s been. From the madness of Heritage Days and the years of the Ballina Salmon Festival, to the everyday buzz, we were lucky to be part of it all.
In April 2022, we moved to Dillon Terrace, bringing the same laughs, chaos, and great value with us — and thankfully, all of you followed us.
To our amazing customers — thank you for the chats, the laughs, and the loyal support over the years. For every “quick look” that turned into a trolley, every last-minute panic buy, and every forgotten birthday saved by a quick dash in for a card… ye kept us going.
To our staff, past and present — hardworking, full of craic, and always up to a bit of mischief! From the unforgettable Christmas parties, to the day-to-day laughs, you made it more than just a job… friendships for life.
From Paddy’s Day 2004 to 28th March 2026… what a journey ❤️
Ballina won’t be the same without the chats from EuroGiant… and neither will your last-minute dashes in.
Thank you for everything
Over and out,
EuroGiant Ballina
(P.S. Before anyone asks… yes, we’re definitely closed Sunday 😄)
