Definitely a day that keeps on giving! Look what just arrived!

This fabulous book from Barrie Barrie Quinn is full of practical tips and inspiration about growing, harvesting, pickling and fermenting!

Part 1 of this book starts with the story behind Portnoo Market Garden and how it all came about. Parts 2 and 3 ease us into planting and growing - probably the part I should read in depth as I have an uncanny ability to kill any plant within arms reach 🙈

Remembering our much-loved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother Bernie on her anniversary today.

Bernie bought the shop in 1960 and, through years of hard work and dedication, created the foundations of the family business we have today. She was a strong, hardworking woman who was well known and greatly respected throughout the local community.

Her legacy lives on, and she is remembered with love and gratitude today and always. 💕

**Rest in peace, Bernie.**

A huge congratulations to our very own Jake, who works with us in The Coffee Loft!
Jake competed this weekend at the **AWPC World Championships** in Manchester in powerlifting and achieved an incredible:

🥈 Silver in the Bench Press
🥇 Gold in the Deadlift
🥇 Gold in the Equipped Deadlift
🏆 **Overall Best Lifter in the Equipped Deadlift**

What an amazing achievement! We’re all incredibly proud of you, Jake — a world-class powerlifter and a pretty brilliant barista too! 💪☕️
