We are delighted to see Oisín representing WorldSkills Ireland in Welding this week at the AWS Global Skills Challenge in Huntsville, Alabama.

The event brings together competitors from Ireland, USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia and Switzerland in a high-level skills competition that mirrors the experience and standards of the WorldSkills Competition in China.

Opportunities like this showcase the value of further education and training, international collaboration and the incredible talent of our learners. We are proud to see Oisín flying the flag for Ireland and wish him every success.

Welcome to our new members Monday slot iMotors Drumkeen and indeed malin. However it was Michael and Jacqui who accepted the honours this time from the Drumkeen super modern facility!!This fantastic car sales company is ran by brothers Sean and Seamus mc Loughlin .

Their dealership includes Kia- Nissan and Isuzu respectively. I was made feel very welcome by everyone and there’s a great positive vibe from their ultra modern showrooms and garage facilities. Bringing employment to many,and also bringing an equally fantastic experience to car sales and purchases to past- present and new customers alike. There’s also a large number of secondhand but almost new car’s and van’s off different brands. There’s something for everyone in iMotors . It’s accessible and convenient and it’s just in the process of its finishing touches outside.

On behalf of myself and our committee members we wish you continued success, and we look forward to supporting you in any way possible down the line . As we grow our membership here in the twin towns and Finn valley area, let your business be part of this growth also.

I picked up this book recently to read on holidays.

Usually when I read the cover, I know within seconds if it’s for me and straight away, I thought - yep, that’s the one!

When I got into the book initially, I thought it was great, then I switched to thinking it was a whole sci-fi thing (which is definitely not my thing), and then bam - it took off and I couldn’t put it down!!

I definitely wasn’t prepared for the twist towards the end!

I have left my copy at the till on half price - first come, first served!

This Saturday, 1st August, Ballybofey United FC proudly celebrates an incredible 55 years of football, friendship and community, and we can't wait to welcome everyone to Dreenan for what promises to be a truly unforgettable day! 🎉⚽
Here's what's in store:

🎈 11:00am – Family Fun Day Bring the whole family along for a fantastic morning packed with games, activities, entertainment and our GIANT Football Dartboard. Fun for all ages and plenty to keep the smiles going all day long!

⭐ Legends Match Take a trip down memory lane as some of the club's greatest players pull on the famous Ballybofey United jersey once again. A special celebration of the people who helped shape our club over the past 55 years.

✂️ 12:30pm – Official Opening Ceremony Join us as we officially mark this historic milestone with the opening of our anniversary celebrations. A proud moment for everyone connected with Ballybofey United FC.

⚽ Senior Match vs Finn Harps Round off an incredible afternoon as our Senior Team takes on Finn Harps in what promises to be a brilliant local derby and the perfect finale to our daytime celebrations.

☕🍔 Refreshments will be served throughout the day, so come along, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy everything the club has to offer.

Lorraine's story with Alexanders goes back many years. She was first employed by Joe's mum, and through all the changes over the years, she has remained a constant. Her loyalty, hard work and dedication have helped shape the business into what it is today.

She's one of our most valued team members, loved by both our customers and everyone she works with. Whether she's helping you find exactly what you need or greeting you with a friendly smile, Lorraine is simply one of those people who makes Alexanders feel like Alexanders.
