Why:
Oily skin can actually benefit from using the right botanical oils in a formulation.

The Science:
Stripping the skin with harsh drying ingredients can signal your sebaceous glands to overcompensate & produce even more oil.
Using the right botanical oils can help signal to your skin that it is suffiently hydrsted, balancing natural sebum levels over time.
Which oils are suitable to use on oily skin: The key is to use non-comodogenic (do not clog pores) botanical oils. Oils high in linoleic acid (an essential omega6 fatty acid often deficient in oily & acne-prone skin).

Botanical oils suitable for oily skin:
Squalene ( We use this in our serum)
Jojoba oil - in our serum
Rosehip seed oil - in our serum
Grapeseed- in our facial oil and serum
Kiwi- facial oil
Watermelon - facial oil
Blackcurrant - facial oil
