We are now taking vendor bookings; places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and will be only guaranteed upon receipt of payment.

Unfortunately, there will be no Christmas Food & Craft Market in Ballymote this year.

Expressions of interest had been received initially to take on the market this year but these have not materialised any further.

We would like to thank our vendors and ask that people support them in upcoming markets across Sligo in the coming months.

Over the past two years, six Artisan Food & Craft Markets have been ran in Ballymote by Ballymote Community Council and have been a great success.

The Markets have been an important source of playground fundraising to allow us to obtain matched funding amounts required to support grant applications.

Given our revised priorities in 2025 for our group, we have provided the opportunity to other community groups / entities who may wish to manage and coordinate Markets this year.

We have offered to provide support and advice given that the Markets is now an established process.

Unfortunately, we have not received any expressions of interest to date. If there isn’t any uptake, no Markets will take place this coming year.

We would like to thank all those who have made the Markets a success and we hope that an interested party comes forward later this year.
