have been busy again!… they have created an amazing seating and picnic area on the Bernards Bridge Walk- which is part of the old South Cork Railway Line.

The seating area is designed to resemble a wheel, reflecting on its railway past and its situated right next to a fabulous wooden sculpture by Nathan Solomon.

The base of the seating area was created using a drystone method- which the Tidy Towns groups learned in a workshop and can now use in more projects going forward.

It’s such a fantastic little oasis to visit and stroll through and with the development of the walkway in years to come, this will become a welcome respite for many travellers!

Congratulations …. You are making Bandon a better town for us all…❤️
