How lucky are we to have all this on our doorstep ?

With the bank holiday weekend aproaching here are a few ideas of what to get up to in Bantry 💙

Head out on the boats or spend an evening sunset kayaking with 🌊

Swing by on Saturday August 1st for an afternoon of Trad music from 12-3pm 🎼

Relax and enjoy a coffee in and maybe pick up a new mug while you're there ☕️

Take in the breathtaking views 🌸

And of course we will be here with the best of Irish craft and design and pouring Piccolos throughout the weekend 🌿

SUMMER DAYS have been the joys for the taking and whilst we may work hard through the high season we definitly enjoy the beauty of a free 24 hours also!

☀️This week the Island daytrip lead to Bere Island where, at one stage it was just I and those very smartly sheltering sheep.
A stunning walk to the Lighthouse and incredible round views between the greens and the blues. Arrived just in time for a Molly | Baking, Crêpes & more 👩‍🍳🌼 Crêpe on the Pier before the trip home again. So much to see and wander on and with many walking routes mapped out and must definitly make a night of it at the newest Pods Wild Atlantic Glamping. The simple Wind down of 24 hours. ⛰️🚵‍♀️🐑☀️
West Cork is really a world of its own.

Recently we took a visit to Hilary Hale to meet her in her Home Gallery space. A beautiful drive to Kinsale, it was wonderful to be placed in Hilarys hospitality and in the centre of her creations.

Hilary was in fact the very first maker to bring her pieces to Forest & Flock almost 8 years ago now and we love to see customers find the perfect Lamp or Bowl or mouse even that they were just looking for!

Amazing to see the details and process in bringing these finishes pieces to our shop shelves. A true learnings for us.
