Devastated to hear of the passing of beautiful Bernie. A woman who was, in so many ways, the heart and soul of Erris. ❤️

When I first moved my shop to Belmullet, she was one of the kindest people I had the privilege of meeting. She made me feel so welcome and was always so warm, generous and encouraging. She had a way of making everyone feel special.

She gave so much to her community, always there to support, fundraise and help others. She was full of life, energy and personality, a real lady in every sense of the word.

And what style she had! One of the most elegant and glamorous ladies I have ever met, with the most wonderful taste. Her home was a reflection of her, beautiful, sophisticated and full of personality.

And Christmas… well, Christmas was definitely her time! Her incredible decorations, beautiful Christmas tree and exquisite attention to detail were simply magical. She created a home that looked like it belonged in a Christmas magazine.

She will be remembered not only for her wonderful style, but for her kindness, generosity, community spirit and the joy she brought to so many people.

A truly special lady who will be missed more than words can say. ❤️

Rest peacefully, beautiful lady. You were one of a kind. 🕊️

The Saw Doctors would like to thank everyone who bought the special event t-shirt at the recent Mayo gigs in the TF Royal, Castlebar. All 750 shirts sold out and a cheque for €18,750 euro has been given to the Sunflower Children’s Hospice i.e. 750 shirts at €25 euro.
