As we approach 600 followers, we just want to say a huge thank you for the incredible support shown to SVP Bray. 💙

Behind every post, reel, Live, visit, purchase & donation is something much bigger. It is the generosity & care behind what is donated, the work that goes into sorting, selecting & preparing everything for the shop floor & giving quality items another life while offering value, choice, sustainability & dignity to everyone who comes through our doors. ♻️

Our staff are amazing every single day & our wonderful volunteers give their time, energy, & kindness so generously. Then there are the countless people who stop to chat, even briefly, say thank you, share an idea, tell us a story or give such wonderful feedback about the store, the social media, the team & what we are doing.💙

All of that has helped make SVP Bray what it is today, what it can continue to offer St Vincent de Paul & what it has become within the wider community. A place to donate, shop, browse, chat, connect, find something needed or something special & know that every part of it is contributing to something much bigger.💙

Through our much-loved posts, reels & hugely popular Lives, we have connected with people in Bray & far beyond, but together, both online & in-store, something genuinely special has grown.🙌🏻

Vintage clothing store Nine Crows in the heart of Dublin’s Temple Bar saw “a dip” in customers when online rival Vinted entered the Irish market 18 months ago, but business has since recovered, says general manager Alex Morgan.

Online retail has been riding high in Ireland recently. Vinted reported growth in listings up to 197 per cent in the year to May, and annual sales growth of up to 499 per cent in Ireland.

Figures published by Vinted in April show global revenue at the group was up 38 per cent to €1.1 billion last year, while profit was down 19 per cent to €62 million.

Vinted, founded in 2008, is an online marketplace in which anyone can buy and sell all kinds of items, from trading cards to snow removal tools – but its main focus is fashion. The company, valued at €8 billion, mostly caters for peer-to-peer selling.

Sizes are marked on the boxes, with a size chart above the display. Mirrors are also available on the shop floor to help you view items.🙌🏻

A quick note on donations: we understand that some people travel a distance, are clearing a house or can only make one trip. As the shop is our only storage space, we can accept a maximum of three to four bags per person at a time.💙

Every donation, purchase & sale genuinely matters, supporting both the store & the wider work of St Vincent de Paul. We are truly grateful for everyones generosity, support & understanding especially the community in Bray & surrounding area 🙌🏻
