🌾🍂 Święto plonów – Harvest Festival 🍂🌾

Another beautiful design from Sabina at Forest of Needles , from her wonderful “Slavic Holidays” collection. 🧶✨

This time, I had the pleasure of making a delicate side-to-side shawl, decorated with long strands of beautiful wheat-ear motifs, woven into a rich and textured stitch pattern. 🌾

The wheat ears beautifully symbolise the end of the harvest and the arrival of autumn — a time to celebrate what nature has given us and welcome the changing season. 🍁🤎

For my version, I chose gorgeous pastel shades from Lena Samoshkina, creating a soft and dreamy colour palette that makes the botanical details truly stand out. 💕🌸

I’m so happy to share my latest test project for Pani Kwiatkowska Handmade . 🧶💗

Inspired by Urðarbrunnr – the Well of Urd, one of the most mystical places in Norse mythology. 🌿✨

Hidden beneath the roots of the mighty World Tree, Yggdrasil, the sacred well was watched over by the three Norns — Urd, Verdandi and Skuld, representing the Past, Present and Future. 🧶💫

They were said to weave the threads of fate for gods and humans, making the well a beautiful symbol of destiny, time and the journey of life.

The latest beautiful design from ZawijAnka handmade , The Well of Urd, captures this mythology in a wonderfully delicate crochet pattern. The circles represent the mystical well, while the flowing bands echo the springs and threads of fate. 🌊🌀

For my version, I chose the softest pastel shades from KnitAnki włóczki-Anna — gentle pinks, creams and subtle tones that give the piece a dreamy, almost magical feel. 🌸🤍💗

There’s something so special about learning something new… ✨

As you may have noticed, lately I’ve been picking up my knitting needles and discovering just how much I love knitted pieces. 🧶💙 Crochet will always have a very special place in my heart, but knitting has been opening up a whole new world of textures, shapes and possibilities.

I may not have the same experience with knitting that I have with crochet — yet! 😉 — but I’m learning, experimenting and enjoying every stitch along the way. And I have a feeling you’ll be seeing many more knitted creations here very soon! 🥰

That’s why I’m especially grateful when talented designers trust me with their beautiful patterns. ❤️ It means so much to me, especially while I’m still growing my knitting skills.

🌿✨ Noc Kupały – a night of magic, love and fern flowers ✨🌿

Long ago, on the shortest night of the year, Slavic people gathered to celebrate Noc Kupały — a magical festival honouring fire, water, the sun and the moon. 🔥🌙💧☀️

It was a night of love, fertility, health and abundance, filled with traditions, dancing, flowers and the search for something truly magical… 🌿

Legend tells of the fern flower, a mythical blossom said to appear only once a year on Kupala Night. Those lucky enough to find it were believed to be blessed with wealth, happiness and good fortune. 🍀✨

And now, that magic has found its way into crochet. 🧶💚

The newest design from Sabina of Forest of Needles is inspired by this enchanting tradition. Noc Kupały features beautifully winding leaves and delicate fern blossoms, all brought together in a unique crescent-shaped shawl. 🌿🌸
