Meet Paschal…
Paschal is from that quiet stretch along the Fermanagh - Donegal border, and he’s been making things since he was no height… always drawing, building, tinkering, trying out ideas.
He grew up with sheds full of timber, nails and half‑finished notions as his playground...the kind of childhood where you learn how things fit together by taking them apart first. School didn’t light him up, but drawing always did. Over the years he tried a bit of everything… and eventually ended up studying digital mixed media, facing down the computers he once avoided.
Fast - forward to one of his covid rabbit holes… he stumbled into laser cutting, and suddenly everything lined up. The drawing, the drafting, the woodwork, the problem‑solving, the digital skills ... all feeding into the layered geometric pieces he makes now.
What you see on the wall is very much him: curious, considered, shaped by the outdoors he loves, the music he never switches off, and that habit of wandering off the beaten track.
And yes... we’re always excited when he pops in with a new piece under his arm.
