Another restoration completed! This piano was incredibly sentimental and had such an interesting story behind it. Originally bought as a wedding gift in 1935, it has truly stood the test of time and will continue to bring the joy of music to generations to come. 💍🎹

The response to the show has been overwhelming and beyond anything we could ever have imagined. We are incredibly grateful for all the heartfelt messages and the level of support we have received. ❤️

We feel extremely fortunate to have been entrusted with such a meaningful project and to have worked alongside some truly wonderful people throughout the process. A sincere thank you to Steve and Diana for their kindness, hospitality, and the warm welcome they extended to us from the very beginning. We are also deeply thankful to the entire Bo Media production team, whose tireless dedication, professionalism, and countless hours of work brought this story together so beautifully.

✨Today is the day!! 🎹✨

Tonight at 8:30pm on RTÉ One, ‘Museum of Me’ airs, and we are incredibly proud to have been entrusted with the restoration of Steve Garrigan’s treasured piano.

We were honoured to attend the premiere screening of RTÉ’s Museum of Me at the Irish Film Institute in Dublin, where we had the opportunity to see the fantastic episodes presented by Dermot Whelan featuring Maia Dunphy and Brian Dobson, and to watch this very special series come to life on screen.

As a seventh-generation piano business, it is safe to say that we have carried out many restoration projects over the years. Yet no matter how many instruments pass through our workshop, witnessing the joy of giving a deeply sentimental piano a new lease of life never loses its magic.

We cannot wait for you all to see the final result and the journey behind this remarkable restoration.

We are all so excited here at Holland Pianos and can’t wait to see it all come together in tomorrow night’s episode!! It has been an incredible experience throughout this past year, working alongside some amazing people, being part of this project and sharing the restoration journey of Steve Garrigan’s piano.

Holland Pianos was honoured to be selected to restore a treasured piano belonging to Steve Garrigan, lead singer of Kodaline.

As a seventh-generation piano company based in the heart of Carlow, it was a privilege to work on an instrument that holds such personal and musical significance.

Holland Pianos were delighted to provide an instrument for the 13th Annual Carlow College of Music Prize Winners Concert at St. Mary’s Church, Carlow 🎶

Pictured are Majella Swan, who runs the school, and Brian Kehoe , teacher and past pupil. The evening featured a beautiful performance by special guest Claire Healy, also a past pupil.

Claire is an accomplished pianist studying with the Royal Irish Academy of Music under Professor Therese Fahy, and a proud recipient of the Frank Maher Award for Classical Music 👏

We’re so fortunate to have such dedicated music teachers in our community, nurturing talent and inspiring the next generation. It’s always a joy to hear the piano pushed to its full potential—showcasing its power, speed, subtlety, and nuance.

Congratulations to everyone involved in such a fantastic event! 🎹✨
