Had a brilliant meeting today with Steve Kelly from Loop Tackle.
It's always nice to spend time with people who are genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about what they do, and today didn't disappoint. We got a look at some of the new products coming down the line, including the new Classic X reel, the Flyte range and the insanely impressive Ström, which is coming in a limited edition Bamboo style that is just pure class. There are a few other exciting bits on the horizon too, and I can't wait until we can show you more.
But the one thing that really stood out wasn't the gear—it was the attitude behind the brand. Loop are committed to producing serious, high-quality fishing tackle while backing it up with excellent customer service, long-term spare parts availability, and after-sales support. That kind of commitment says a lot about the confidence they have in the products they build and is something I think is severely lacking currently in the high end rod market.
It's easy to get excited about shiny new gear, but it's even better when it's backed by a company that's committed to looking after its customers long after the sale. Looking forward to working more closely with Loop and getting these products into your hands.
