These donated vans give incredible charities the wheels they need to collect surplus food directly from Tesco stores and distribute it to communities in need.

Plus, we wrap every van in the charity’s own custom branding completely free of charge.

In 2014, Tesco became the first retailer in Ireland to partner nationally with FoodCloud and more recently Olio.
 
Since then, over 24 million meals worth of surplus food have been donated to local community groups and homes across Ireland!
 
Every evening, colleagues log surplus food that’s still perfectly good to eat through FoodCloud so local community groups and Olio food waste heroes can collect and redistribute it where it’s needed most.
 
Because sharing food beats wasting food every single time.
