Maura hadn’t been in the market for some time, but her larger-than-life spirit and warm presence will always be remembered by everyone who knew her.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jimmy “Jeans,” as so many of his customers fondly knew him. Having known him for more than 30 years, I’m sure he would want to be remembered by that name.

Jimmy was more than just a loyal customer – he was a true friend. Over the years, we had the pleasure of meeting many of his family, and our hearts go out to them, especially as his beloved wife and son who passed before him.

He will be missed beyond words but never forgotten. I still have a few pairs of his Hilfiger jeans, and I hope one day to fit into them, a small reminder of a big-hearted man.

Though I know it’s not fair to single out anyone in particular, I must mention Chris, of whom Jimmy was so proud.

Sadly, this will be the third funeral I have attended in Jimmy’s family. He was, in many ways, the glue that held them together. I hope his loved ones can draw strength from his memory and from each other in the days ahead.
