Bike to Work Scheme at Clifden Bike Shop

We’re fully registered with the Government Bike to Work Scheme so you don’t have to worry . Just pick your bike, get set, and ride away!

Here’s how it works:

👉 Tax-free saving: Employers can provide bicycles and safety gear for employees, typically up to €1,250 value depending on equipment type, all with tax benefits.

👉 Everything covered: Standard bikes, e-bikes, cargo bikes, helmets and essential accessories are eligible under the scheme.

👉 Minimal hassle: We handle all the forms and admin through the Government system — your only job is to choose the perfect ride!

👨‍🔧 Our Workshop is Back in Full Swing

We’re thrilled to welcome Rogier, our new Senior Bike Mechanic, to the Clifden Bike Shop team. With over 30 years of experience in bike shops and workshops, Rogier brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and passion for keeping bikes in top condition. Thanks to him, our workshop is now fully operational again, ready to handle everything from quick fixes to full rebuilds.
