OK, it's mid June, I am officially getting my Summer groove on. I know it's hardly been dry for more than two days at a time this year and the ankles and elbows haven't seen the light of day, but I feel I just need to pick a day to crack out the summer wardrobe or I'll never get out of jeans and jumpers. So todays the day, all about being decisive and making things happen these days. I'm definitely chanelling Anne Frank these days "First we make our choices, then our choices make us." Oh and a total aside here, but was in Amsterdam earlier in the year and visited Anne Franks house, completely mind blowing. It was such a sobering and thought provoking experience, if you get the chance, go. My Mum had given me the book when I was in primary school, I always felt it was my first lesson in gratitude as it was referred to often when I was growing up. It did the trick and every time I thought of Anne having to stay quiet all the time (anyone who knows me knows that would be my biggest challenge) it had the desired effect and I felt beyond blessed to be able to yap my way through the day and p*e when I wanted or go outside. I've rambled here but the jist of it is, I'm making choices that make me and enjoying the luxury of living with them. Expect many summer outfits to follow on the stories.
