Anne McSweeney (nee O’Neill) is a wife, mother and grandmother who was born in Cobh, County Cork. Anne is married to Tim, ex CPO Irish Naval Service, a native of Skibbereen, County Cork. They spent their married life in Cobh and raised two sons, Paul and Tim; and have four grandchildren. Anne, who has a keen interest in the history of her home town has had several articles published over the years in the Cork Holly Bough and other local magazines.
