Nixon Guitars has over 20 years of history in Cork, Ireland. Guitars are our specialty, acoustic and electric. We also cater for traditional instruments such as Banjos, Mandolins and Bouzoukis. We have years of experience carrying out a wide range of repairs and custom work for a long list of musicians on the Leeside. We cover everything from Set Ups to Re-Frets along with Cosmetic Repair, Touch

Ups, Electrics and Custom work. Originally based in Thompsons Bakery on McCurtain St. in Cork city , Nixon Guitars relocated near the Anglers Rest in 2015. Open 6 days you can simply call for an appointment.

Recent work done for Tony Milner on his Tanglewood TSR3 Master Series acoustic guitar. Replacement of worn/broken machine heads with gold finish Gotoh Midsize 510 Tuners; also fret replacement up to, and including, the eight fret. Also, a Fishman Natural 1 pickup was installed, but the camera was too big to fit through the soundhole, hence no photo of pickup.
