Sometimes referred to as the Work of the Angels on account of the elaborate spirals, interlacings and knotwork, the captivating intricacies of the Celtic design bear elegance and drama wherever they are applied. Their organic shapes often incorporate sinuous interlacements of animal and abstract themes, combining both traditional and contemporary perspectives. Their distinctive patterns have appea

red on stone, metalwork, in jewellery and on magnificent illuminated manuscripts. The excellence of design and workmanship achieved by the ancient Celtic artists and craftsmen can be seen in the jewellery Aqua Fortress creates, applying fine silk screen printing and age old etching techniques. Each piece is individually crafted by hand. Now the enduring beauty of this ancient form is available in a range of Celtic jewellery and gifts created by them. The rich lustre of the engraving brass used in this range has often been likened to Fool’s Gold. During their unique etching process a permanent contrast is achieved, giving a two-tone finish. Each piece is polished to a superb finish, and packaged on an Aqua Fortress presentation card.
