Moloney pianos Midleton
began life as a small local piano repair and tuning service in July 1990 when I returned to Ireland having spent three years in The Welsh School of Instrument Making and Repair. The original workshop was my converted bedroom and my transportation was a borrowed car from my girlfriend. Since then I have moved premises four times before finally buying one in 2005 . I’ve been

lucky to have had loyal support from numerous customers, some of whom have become close friends. We’ve imported hundreds of container loads of pianos from , Japan, China and the U.K. and I’ve met some of the most interesting people on the planet whose stories would fill ten books . I also bought a van and married the girlfriend ( who still refers to my piano business as my hobby and she’s right).
