Anyone else feel like summer is flying past? We’re loving meeting so many visitors coming through the English Market. Hoping they share a pic of their ceramics pottery when it reaches the destination. We receive photos from around the world and it brings smiles to our faces.

Every piece of pottery is unique, hand painted and hand crafted. A lot of patience and skill goes into each piece, relying on the brilliance of the artistic mind that is Charlie Mahon.

When you buy one of our products, you are buying a piece actually created in Ireland. Individually crafted by hand and unique. No two bowls or mugs or plates are exactly the same. It is one of many truly Irish souvenirs and treasures. The tradition of Irish pottery is behind each piece.

Charlie loves bringing each sheep to life in the studio with his paintbrush. No two are alike, just like the sheep dotting hills across the countryside. Ewe know you love them! Each piece of our ceramics pottery is handmade, hand painted, and glazed here in Cork. We focus on sustainability in each step of our process to protect our environment.

Our Large Mackerel Bowl is the perfect vessel for your summer salad. We served ours up with the Medium Square Plates which offer enough space for salad AND some bread or BBQ meat or fish. Summer entertaining never looked better.

The salad is adapted from a recipe Brunch Cork posted ages ago that we can’t get enough of. We used Macroom Buffalo Mozzarella this time and dried apricots instead of figs.

Some new framed art coming your way. These babies are heading for the kiln and once they survive, they will be framed and ready for hanging. These are for the exhibition in for the Nationwide Craft Month. The sculpture at the end is only magic!! What do you think 🤔🤔 I think Charlie is on fire 🔥🔥
