Cork Craft Month is in full swing, so many great events, workshops and demonstrations displaying the wonderful and talented makers and creators we have in the county.

Our handmade 2027 Diaries are now available online and in our shop. Each Diary has a full page for each day of the year, giving you plenty of room to write your thoughts, appointments, to-do lists, whatever you need.

We are very lucky to have Annamaria with us for two weeks. This morning she took us through a binding technique she learnt in Switzerland, using parchment to sew the sections too and then weaving it through the cover to attach it. No glue needed. Thank you Anna Maria for a wonderful morning.

This book came in with a strong curve in the spine, in the wrong direction! It was placed in the clamp and the glue was removed, the spine was then straightened out, (the book gave a huge sigh of relief!) and re glued, with a ribbon and headbands added, it’s now ready to go back into its case.

As part of on August 1st, we will be running a workshop where you can make your own A5 hard cover notebook. We will provide all the materials in our workshop nestled on Tobin Street in the heart of Cork city.

The latest notebook in our Wild Collection launches today, July 1st. Hand drawn, in house by Maria, this notebook features the beautiful the native Irish Short-Snouted Seahorse.
In Irish they are called ‘Each Uisce’ (Y-ock- ish-ka) meaning Water spirit, they have long been associated by sailors with safe passage on the water.
