Cattle Sale Report Thursday 20th August 2026.

There was a large entry of cattle for this week’s sale. A strong trade for all lots on offer was evident both around the ring and online, with quality stock in particular demand.

Forward Cattle sold from €3.80/kg to €4.80/kg.
Medium weights sold from €3.80/kg to €5.40/kg.
Lighter weights sold from €3.80/kg to €5.80/kg.
AA Cattle sold from €3.40/kg to €4.30/kg.
FR Cattle sold from €3.20/kg to €3.80/kg.
Fat Cows sold from €1400/head to €3200/head.

€100 to €130 for 27-35kgs
€130 to €150 for 35-42kgs
€150 to €170 for 42-46kgs
€170 to €185 for 46-55kgs

Fat Ewes sold from €100/head to €228/head.
