The Irish Postbox. Scattered through towns and villages all over Ireland, our green postboxes are little landmarks in their own right. Some are old British red boxes that were simply painted green after independence, others are newer versions, and plenty are a little rusty around the edges. They’re easy to walk past without noticing, but they’ve been quietly collecting letters, cards and news from home for generations.
