Wild ninja "There is truth behind every joke". A dark-humour comic to help us become more aware of the world we live in. What is Wild Ninja?

Aimed at people who have a short attention span, Wild Ninja is an online 3-page comic which references news events from around the world. The 3-page format gives a short but concise insight into a situation, and readers can research further online if they are interested in the topic. "There is truth behind every joke." With this in mind, we decided to create a dark-humour comic, a new and differen

t way of making people aware of serious events while keeping the conversation light and enjoyable. It also allows people the opportunity to express their opinions in a non-judgemental environment.

“A little knowledge is a dangerous thing”
Some people follow their emotions when deciding what to believe when it comes to news that doesn’t affect them directly. They form strong and emotional opinions that are often based on very little information, and even less personal research. Wild Ninja stories aim to show that we don't need to be afraid of what we don't know. By openly sharing our experiences and struggles, seen through the lens of our differences and our similarities, we realise that we all have things that connect us, which makes us more empathetic and accepting of others. Don’t just have an opinion, …have an informed opinion!
