I’ve said this before how there’s a misconception that just because the monogramming doesn’t match up symmetrically, it means the bag is counterfeit — and that’s totally incorrect (and here’s another example of one in Lv😅)

So many factors go into authentication, and pattern matching is only a small part of the process.

That being said, if you’re purchasing a new item directly from an LV boutique and the monogramming doesn’t line up, I would always ask your SA to show you another example of the same model and choose the one with the most symmetrical pattern 🤓

I turned 49 today 🎉 Yes, I’m a Gen-Xer and in case you didn’t know, we are all a bit mad 😂

I’ve been working since I was 12, and I was on the payroll at Burger King making the equivalent of €2.80 an hour, when it wasn’t even really legal to start working that young. But my parents knew the manager, so away I went, cleaning out ashtrays and tables (yep - you could smoke back then in restaurants in Canada 😅)

I survived playing outside as a kid with no parental supervision and only going home when it was time to eat. Or if it was too dark. And no parents ever knew where we were because there were no tracking devices back then.

I survived riding in the back of pickup trucks with no seatbelts and no helmets. I remember Walkmans and pagers and life before Facebook and Instagram.

And thank God my teens were not documented because I would definitely have been cancelled several times over, along with my friends. You know who you are 😂

I survived driving into the woods with said gangs of friends (we called them bush parties😂) knowing full well there were actual cougars, rattle snakes and bears living there, only to drink b**r around bonfires where no adults could find us 😅

I remember life before the Internet.

It’s such a privilege getting to this age — and I know some of us don’t like to say how old we are when the numbers start creeping up towards the middle, but f**k it! Embrace it 🎉🎉🎉

Just think of all the crazy things we’ve done if you’re in the same generation as me… and all the crazy things still in store for us 😍😂

Anyways - here’s to my last year in my forties — may the world be ready because you can’t really mess around with a Gen Xer like me - we are all just built differently 😂🎉♥️

I honestly don’t know anyone who hasn’t been affected in one way or another by breast cancer 😭😰❤️‍🩹 We all know someone who has unfortunately experienced this horrible disease and I know with enough research and funding we can see the end to this once and for all during our generation 😭❤️ When approached me to sponsor her fundraising initiative for there was never any hesitation and I told her we have the most supportive community in this little corner of the Internet and I know you guys will get behind this 100% 😭❤️😭❤️😭 I’ve known Rosie for over a decade now and it is so inspiring to see how she goes over and beyond raising awareness for such an important cause so please join me in helping her and the team at - we need every little bit of your help and even if you have nothing to spare if you could share the awareness on her post that would be so appreciated 😭❤️
