Welcome to The Gutter Bookshop, an independent bookshop situated in the Old City part of Dublin's popular Temple Bar area, and since 2013 at 20 Railway Road in Dalkey as well. We sell all kinds of books, including some great children's books, as well as gifts and stationery. We aim to provide you with something a little bit different than you'll find in the big chain bookshops so do please pop in to us and say hello!

Last weekend we had a glorious time at for events.
It was really nice to chat with all the authors, starting with & interviewed by .o, and finishing with & interviewed by , we had a ball and even sold a few books!
Had a wander around the property mostly avoiding swans and finishing with a lovely visit to Pet Cemetery. What a day.

Thank you to all who came to our 'Great Books of China' event with and on Thursday. Brilliant books were mentioned, now included in our Lunar New Year category on the Gutter website.

We had nibbles, doggies, great chats, and even a tiny raffle.

Sure, Galentine's Day is great, but have you ever been to a event?

Last week we were lucky enough to host Ruth's book launch for , her debut verse novel for Young Adults, and believe me when I tell you that all the love for her and the book could not be contained and was bursting out of the room.

It all kicked off with energetic and incredible words from team, first .b and then , smoothly followed by a heartfelt introduction to Ruth's work by .

After a standing applause, Ruth was kind enough to read for us and sign for hours, the signing queue had to snake around the shop!

Thank you to all the crowd showing up against all stormy weather odds, it was such a delight to witness such support for one of our .

Signed copies available in Temple Bar and online, with dedications on request.
