Hi folks! This will be my attempt at making one definitive post to answer all questions regarding the Pokemon 30th Anniversary Set so grab a snack and drink, it's going to be a long one.
First, some expectations setting. Yes, we are going to do our usual unsealed product at MSRP, sealed product at anti-scalper pricing dance. If you're looking for sealed product at MSRP that you can flip on Facebook marketplace for 4x an hour after buying it tune out, switch off, this ain't that post.
Second, allocations. Boyhowdy they are *awful*. And I'm not talking in comparison to Easons or Smyths or anything like that. I'm aware that The Warchest is a small store and I don't expect anything like the truckloads those big box stores get. I mean in comparison to other, similar LGS operating in our market we are getting allocated maybe 40% of what they are. All this to say the stock is hyper limited and will likely be gone in minutes.
Now, finally, what you came here for. Enough of your sob stories Dave how do I buy the stuff. At 1pm on Tuesday July 14th we're going to launch the product on our webstore linked below. Half the stock of each product will be flagged sealed and half unsealed and we'll rebalance that every 24 hours until it's all gone. An example: Say we have been allocated 24 Tech Sticker Collections. We split them 12 and 12, sealed and unsealed. A day later all the unsealed stock has sold and 4 of the sealed ones have sold. We have 8 left so we split that 4 and 4, sealed and unsealed. Repeat every 24 hours until it's all gone.
I think that just about covers it. One last thing that I'd like to highlight is that we only ship domestically. If we get any orders requesting international shipping I'm just going to cancel and refund them.
