For a limited time, DEIS Primary Schools in the north Dublin City Council area can avail of the Cycle Right Programme completely free of charge.

This is a once-off funded offer, giving your school the opportunity to introduce pupils to Ireland’s national cycle training programme at no cost.

Are you passionate about cycling and looking for a rewarding, flexible role where you can make a real impact in your local community?

Cyclopath Cycling School is expanding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic instructor to join our team starting this October! We deliver Balance Bike, Learn to Cycle, Cycling Skills, and Cycle Right (the national in-school cycle training programme) to schools and community settings across the region.

💼 The Details:
Pay: €19.00–€23.00 per hour (depending on qualifications/experience)
Hours: Term-time, initially 5-10 hours per week.

The Aim: Long-term goal of progressing this into a full-time position as our school programmes scale.

Type: Permanent, Part-Time, Term-Time
Start Date: October 2026

➡️A full, clean driving licence.
➡️Availability to complete the Cycle Right training course this September.

Primary schools, book summer term Cycle Right safe cycling programmes with confidence. We have a 100% rebooking rate. The Summer term Cycle Right programme consists of 2 hours in the classroom and 6 hours in the schoolyard.

Due to Department of Transport funding, it only costs €10 per DEIS pupil, and €20 per non-DEIS (reduced to €10 if school is maintaining or working on the Green Schools travel flag). Get your pupils road safe and using sustainable travel to get to school!

We have one session remaining in the Inclusive Learn to Cycle and there are a couple of spaces available. Some children successfully cycle within one session, but if not it gives them a good start on their cycling journey. Tips and advice can also be provided to parents.

Thursday 5-6pm O’Raghallaigh’s GAA hall. This is free but must be booked with us. Sponsored by Louth Local Sports Partnership and Sport Uile.
