We are now offering Flu and COVID vaccinations in the pharmacy.

👵 At present, vaccinations are available for people aged 65 and over.

👨‍👩‍👧 Under 65s and children: Vaccines are expected to become available towards the end of the month. We’ll keep you updated as soon as appointments open.

📢 New Free Pharmacy Service Launched Across Ireland: MediBack 💊♻️

We are delighted to be taking part in the new Mediback Scheme, however not all medicines and medical items can be returned for disposal.
Check the list to see what we can and can’t accept.

❌ NOT ACCEPTED:

• Sharps such as needles or lancets
• Outer cardboard and paper packaging
• Loose tablets or capsules
• Harmless liquids, creams or ointments (e.g. glucose or sodium chloride)
• Flammable liquids
• Non-medication chemicals
• Clinical waste (e.g. used bandages and dressings)
• Vapes
• Nitrous oxide “laughing gas” canisters
• Medical devices (e.g. catheters and ostomy bags)
• Veterinary medicines for large/farm animals

Now available our pharmacists can provide professional healthcare advice and treatment for a range of everyday conditions, many of which would typically require a GP visit.

Following a private consultation, pharmacists can prescribe medication where appropriate for 8 common conditions, including:

Allergic rhinitis
Cold sore
Conjunctivitis (infective & allergic)
Impetigo
Oral thrush
Shingles
Uncomplicated urinary tract infection (UTI)
Vulvovaginal thrush

Consultation Fee is €30, which does NOT include medication.
