And that's a wrap folks ❤
With the passing of our beloved Dad/Grandad/Great Grandad, we have decided to close the shop. A tough decision, but the right one for all of us. Dad loved his time in Fadó and we all have special memories of spending time with him here, watching and learning from him. He enjoyed telling stories, hearing tales and sharing a joke with people... if there was a bit of banter and craic to be had while making a sale, all the better 🤣 The contents of the shop will be in an up-coming Auction at Milltown Auction Rooms. The date of which will be announced on their website.
Thank you for supporting the business over the last few years, it was much appreciated by Dad, Mum and ourselves.

It breaks our hearts to share with you the news that Joe passed away peacefully this afternoon. He was one of a kind and we were honoured to have him in our lifes ❤

Unfortunately Joe has not been feeling the best this past while so when the shops re-open on Tuesday, Fadó Antiques won't be joining them. We'll keep you informed and would like to thank you all for your custom and support. Wishing you all a Happy Christmas Season.
(Frenchic Furniture Paint can continue to be collected from the house/workshop in Dromiskin or collection will be available from Dundalk on Friday lunchtimes)

Due to rising Case numbers and my experienced age! I have decided to keep the shop closed for the next few weeks. Apologies to anyone who is inconvenienced by this but under the circumstances I hope you understand. Frenchic Paint will be available to order with collection from the shop on wednesdays between 1 and 2pm, from my daughters house/workshop in Dromiskin any day or evening or local delivery can be arranged. Unfortunately we won't be able to open Wednesday or Thursday 😔 However we will be in the shop to give out paint orders on Tuesday from 1.45 to 2.15pm and Thursday between 1:15 and 1:45pm. Don't forget you can arrange to collect paint from the house/workshop in Dromiskin any day or evening also. ( apologies but due to no electricity we cant offer card payment)

Unfortunately the electrical issue in the shop is more in depth than first thought and has meant having to remove part of the ceiling to get to it !!!! We will have to remain closed for the rest of this week. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Any Paint collections can be arranged so please PM us.
