Very sad news for IV**e our thoughts are with the owners and staff
Today I closed two of my shops.
Not because we stopped trying or caring, but because we can no longer compete on an uneven playing field.
Irish businesses pay taxes, duties, customs charges and comply with strict regulations. Meanwhile, many of us are aware of other “phone repair v**e shops” bringing stock across the border, charging no EPT tax and avoiding other employment costs. They aren’t subject to the same level of scrutiny.
Small Irish businesses are disappearing, not because they failed, but because the system is failing them.
Before you shop, think about where your money goes. Supporting local businesses protects Irish jobs, families and communities.
Today, I didn’t just close two shops. I closed a dream built 14 years ago. Thank you to all who did support us over the years!
